What is the largest type of blood cell?

In contrast, red blood cells, while numerous, are smaller and lack a nucleus. Neutrophils and lymphocytes, other types of white blood cells, are smaller than monocytes and have distinct roles in the immune response, with neutrophils primarily attacking bacteria and lymphocytes being central to adaptive immunity.
